Oh, that ended surprisingly well.

god I love tumblr.

This is why I love the internet

Seriously though. Book or ebook reader. I don’t care how you do it so long as you’re just reading. Why should we really care for media is used?

I AGREE WITH THIS SO MUCH! Every time I see a war on books vs. ebooks on my dash, I want to smack my head.
Technology changes. It’s why we use cell phones now, rather than write to everyone whom we wish to speak with. It’s why we use lightbulbs instead of candles. Times change and ways of life changes. I think neither books nor ebooks are better; each have their own pros and cons. Was it not for the fact I own a large number of books, I’d probably go buy a Kindle and buy all books that way, because I can carry an entire library with me! AN ENTIRE LIBRARY.
And I’m sure, one day, I’ll probably wind up with the Kindle Fire, anyway, and I’ll buy ebooks for it. But it doesn’t mean I’d never buy another printed book, either. It doesn’t mean I prefer ebooks to printed books. I like to stroke the spines of my books on my shelves, as though reassuring myself of the presence of great friends. I like to stack books on my bedside table and debate which to next read, and sometimes fall asleep cuddling the book like a security blanket.
Be happy that people read at all. If an ebook is easier for them, more convenient, then by all means, they should do what they must! I would prefer people read by ebook than not read at all, wouldn’t you?
